Wish lists.

Thank you for taking an interest in my wishes and gift suggestions!

Here is what I came up with [UPDATED as of 9-28-2004 as noted below]:

1. Games for the X-Box such as (a) Fable (b) Halo 2, (c) Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (d) Jade Empire [if available]; (e) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords; and (f) X-Men Legends.

2. A knife carrying case, for my small knife collection (inherited from my uncle). Bud K Knives offers one for about $10.00 in its catalogue as model #BK446, which can also be ordered online at this link. I would also use it for my other small-sized martial-arts weapons.

3. A sword stand for a katana and wakisashi set (a/k/a samurai swords, the long one and the shorter one), to replace my old one which is broken. Any martial arts on-line store and most knife/sword/cutlery on-line stores carry them.

4. (UPDATED 8-1-2004 to replace previous item 5:) A durable work-out/tote bag with shoulder strap and carrying handles, to replace my red vinyl work-out bag, which is missing the shoulder strap and is not very durable.

5. A penny whistle, a/k/a tin whistle, with instruction book.

6. An instruction book for the ukelele. I already have a ukelele but don't know how to tune it or how to play it.

7. A good-quality hardcover The Lord of the Rings. (I already own it on paperback.) Whether a box set with three separate volumes or one single volume, I have no preference. If The Hobbit, The Silmariliion,, and Unfinished Tales were included, that would be a plus but not a requirement. I don't think this was included on my Amazon list.

8. The Unfinished Tales, by J.R.R. Tolkien. I have not included this on my Amazon list. Hardcover not required.

9. A wah-pedal for the guitar. These are available at music equipment boutique shops, such as Robbie's Piano and Music Store on Route 46East in Fairfield, between Passaic Avenue in Caldwell and Route 23, or at retail chains such as The Guitar Store on Route 46 West in Totowa or on Route 22 in Union. In case you do not know what a wah-pedal is, it is a foot pedal that attaches to the guitar via cable and can be used to give a guitar a special "wah" sound, used by guitar legends Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.
